The Coffey County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating a social media threat to Southern Coffey County School District.  No matter the credibility of any threat, the Sheriff's Office will investigate, and all steps will be taken to ensure all students and faculty are provided a safe learning environment.  This case is currently active, and any individual identified as being responsible will be prosecuted.
