Multi Agency Assist- Burglary in Lebo 10/06/2025

Burglary Suspect Apprehended

In the early morning hours of October 6th members from the Coffey County Sheriff's Office, Osage County Sheriff's Office, Kansas Highway Patrol, and Lebo Police Department responded to a burglary in progress at Murphi Agri, LLC.  Upon law enforcement's arrival to the scene, the suspect fled on foot.  A short manhunt took place with the aide of drone and canine units.  Officers were able to identify the suspect from photographs and the suspect was located and arrested in a very short time.  Evidence and property was recovered and the suspect cooperated with law enforcement.    At no time were any members of the public in any danger.  

The suspect is being held on preliminary charges of burglary and theft. Formal charges are pending completion of the investigation.
