Car Chase Concludes Without Incident

This morning, April 14, 2026, deputies from the Coffey County Sheriff's Office conducted a routine traffic stop that escalated into a vehicle pursuit. The suspect's vehicle later left the roadway into a field, coming to rest in a muddy field located near 22nd Road. The suspect was apprehended safely and without incident shortly thereafter.
